Chinese astronauts recently gave a tour of the Tiangong space station. It orbits Earth at 400 kilometers.

The video is about seven minutes long. It was released by CCTV. Three astronauts discuss life on the station.

In the video, viewers see the lab module. They also see sleeping areas, a kitchen, and a hot water heater. There is a greenhouse where they grow cherry tomatoes and lettuce.

The astronauts are from the current Shenzhou-18 crew. This gives a rare look into China’s space program.

The tour begins with the astronauts introducing themselves. They show the main parts of the station. The core module is the control center.

In the dining area, they explain their setup. This includes a heating device, microwave, refrigerator, and water dispenser. They drink water from small pouches.

This is because pouring it into cups isn’t possible in microgravity. Each astronaut has a menu that matches their tastes.

Each astronaut has a private sleeping space. They have a small window, called their "window to the universe." This lets them look at Earth.

The tour includes two lab modules, Wentian and Mengtian. They conduct experiments with animals and plants in microgravity. This research helps prepare for living on the Moon and Mars.

The video also shows astronauts exercising. They use equipment to do squats, lifts, and rowing.

The Shenzhou-18 crew will soon return to Earth. The Shenzhou-19 crew will take their place.

China has made great progress in its space program. They built three parts of the space station in just two years. They plan to send humans to the Moon by 2030.
